Behavioural Assessment

Behavioural Assessment

At Existential, behavioural assessment is a way of understanding how your actions, habits, and responses to situations affect your daily life and overall well-being. Instead of focusing on thoughts and emotions, this approach looks closely at your patterns of behaviour in real-life settings.

During the assessment, our counsellors may:

  • Talk with you about your daily routines and coping strategies
  • Observe how you respond to stress, relationships, or challenges
  • Use questionnaires or structured tools to identify behavioural patterns
  • Explore both helpful and unhelpful habits that may influence your goals

Why is it important?

  • Helps identify behaviours that may contribute to stress, anxiety, or conflict
  • Provides insight into how you interact with others and manage situations
  • Guides us in developing practical strategies and skills for change
  • Tracks progress by noticing positive shifts in behaviour over time

All behavioural assessments are carried out in a respectful, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. The purpose is not to label you, but to work together in understanding your unique patterns and to create a personalised plan for healthier, more fulfilling daily living.
