Adolescent Counselling
Adolescent counselling focuses on supporting teenagers as they navigate the challenges of growing up, including emotional, social, academic and developmental changes. Adolescence is a critical stage where identity, independence and self-esteem are formed, but it can also bring confusion, stress and conflict. Our counselling provides a safe, confidential, and understanding space where adolescents can openly share their thoughts and feelings.
Through adolescent counselling, young people can:
- Manage stress, anxiety or low mood.
- Build self-confidence and a healthy sense of identity.
- Improve communication and relationships with family, peers and teachers.
- Learn coping skills for academic pressure and life transitions.
- Address issues such as bullying, peer influence, self-harm or risky behaviours.
- Explore personal goals and strengths in a supportive environment.
At Existential, we use evidence-based approaches tailored to the developmental needs of teenagers. Our counsellors work collaboratively with adolescents and, when appropriate, with their families, to foster resilience, emotional well-being and positive growth.
