I am a registered counsellor with the Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia and also a PhD candidate. I offer a warm, gentle and supportive space where you can pause, breathe and feel heard. Beginning counselling can feel overwhelming and my hope is to provide an environment where you feel safe enough to share at your own pace, without pressure or judgment.
My path into counselling grew from a genuine interest in understanding people and their inner worlds. I am currently pursuing my PhD at the University of Malaya, where my research focuses on counselling psychology, career development and positive psychology. This academic journey continues to shape my approach, allowing me to offer care that is thoughtful, reflective and grounded in current psychological knowledge. Alongside my work as a counsellor, I am involved in research and community mental health initiatives. This balance between research and counselling allows me to integrate evidence-based approaches into therapy in ways that feel natural, accessible, and relevant to everyday life.
I am deeply committed to ethical and compassionate practice. In my work, I take a client-centred and collaborative approach, honouring each person’s lived experience, values and cultural background. Rather than rushing toward solutions, I believe in gently exploring what feels important to you, helping you build insight, resilience, and self-compassion over time.
Whether you are navigating emotional stress, life transitions, relationship challenges or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I am here to support you with care and attentiveness. Reaching out for support is a meaningful step, and you do not have to take it perfectly. I aim to make counselling feel gentle, grounding and human so that you can feel supported as you move toward greater clarity, balance and well-being, one step at a time.
